Things are going really well and we are all on track, any questions or comments welcome.

InactiveVery cool, sort of Tim Burton-esque.
Dontcha just hate it when people complain about small things? :)
The buttons on this guy need a higher-res texture, maybe even a few more polys…

Or, to get some experience with what real games companies do… Photoshop the screenshot :)

InactiveAs the website says the shots were taken at various stages of development and at that point the textures for the character had not been created and were temps. That character is currently being worked on.

InactiveThats the thing about art… you can get away with showing a sketch and asking those viewing to fill in the detail in their heads…to use their imagination… but there is no equivalent ‘sketch’ in terms of music composition, it just sounds unfinished.

InactiveWell we have decided to change one of the tracks as it just does not fit in with the temp of that particular part of the game. Its amazing how much a difference the music and audio makes to the overall product

InactiveOn a slightly off topic note, I’d like to thank the folks at dare for taking the time to keep us updated here at gd.ie. It’s great to be able to see the progress that is being made, and I’m sure we are all looking forward to some downloadable demos of the final product :)
