      I got an issue. I downloaded a free image. It’s a .PNG (I’m almost sure). But I can’t manipulate it much in photoshop, i.e. I can’t drag it to a new document etc. This has happened to me before with a .GIF… its not a noob mistake I’m making AFAIK…what am I doing wrong, or how can I work around it?

      Check the image mode, I bet its in indexed colour – you’ll need to make it RGB to edit as normal.
