The head of EA said a few weeks back, that the ETA of PS3 was grossly early than whats possible at this stage.
Id say itll be Q2 07′ till its over here.

Well according to Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Sony will delay the launch of PlayStation 3 until November of 2006 citing copy protection for Blu-ray discs as the reason. I guess we’ll know for sure after 9am tomorrow…

Said on the radio this morning that sony were hoping for a november launch now. Didn’t say if that was japan / europe / us / all of the above.

Geez, how much is this thing gona cost. Looking at it now, I mean they’re bundling in a 60GB HDD in there too. Me thinks Sony are more than likely going to make a significant loss per console if they want to make it competitive. All Gates has to do is cut the price of the XBox 360 after the Summer and Sony will have even more headaches. That said I’m sure all the fanbois have started pre-ordering them already regardless..:D
