Inactivevery interesting, but makes sence, if thought 3d max at uni, then you aways use 3d max. so the idea is the more people that have used renderware at uni the ,more customers they will have in the future!

Inactiveits definately a cool tool which would have previously cost universities a fortune to use. if they were allowed to purchase at all.

Even still, it’s great business and beneficial for everyone. EA get to breed a new era of programmers proficient in their tools without having to pay a penny. Then you have students who are now able to learn the most widely used engine in the industry.Win win situation for all. :)

say what you will about EA they always have education and development as priority. Hence thats why their the number 1 publisher. invest early and you reap the benefits in 5-10 years.

They’re big-hitters on the dare to be digital panel now. they saw the potential early and now swoop in for the cream of the crop.
The renderware move is a great one. -

Inactiveyeah, ye’ll just have to get your uni to sign up. also i wonder how long it will take for them to implement it. Or are they ready to distribute as of now. if so, ye’re entries to the DMA’s will be all the better off id say.
