InactiveAye, there seems to be more and more people coming to the conclusion that the Revolution is going to be the big winner in this round of the next gen consoles personally I’ll wait and see.

InactiveReally? Not a bloody chance in my opinion…
I mean yay it can play GameCube games but thats the same as backward compatibilty on the PS/XBox. The Revolution will just be GameCube +1 just like the rest are their previous generations plus a few bells and whistles. My guess is that the market share wont change considerably. Microsoft will probably gain a few points but Sony will still dominate and Nintendo will bring up the rear…

InactiveI like how Nintendo are doing something completely differant, therefore not putting themselves into direct competition with Sony or Microsoft. It will either be a stroke of genius or a complete disaster.
I can’t wait to see what games Nintendo are making for it, hopefully they will show all at E3. -

Its because of that most of the people I’ve talked to think it will be the winner, everyone will buy either an XBOX 360 or a PS3 and then also buy the Revolution as a second console for something different. I can see vague logic in it but as giz said I can see it turning out to be just another gamecube…

InactiveI know that I will definitely be buying a revolution. Even it is only for 4 or 5 top notch Nintendo games, it will be worth it.
I will have my Xbox and/or PS3 for the more mainstream titles. -

InactiveNot just backward compatable to the gamecube… confirmed download of N64 games (there were some comments by Nintendo recently about how framerate would be affected, basically confirming that the games would be available) also rumoured download of NES and SNES games.
