InactiveThe Airline industry has always fascinated me. Ryanair is largely behind that. Channel 4 is going behind the scenes on Monday night at 8pm to investigate the company and its practices. I’m sure it’ll be well worth watching. A couple of my friends might be on it as well…!
Ryanair have also published the correspondence between themselves and the production team.

InactiveNothing surprising on it. It just seemed to be like anything Channel 4 produces – Badly edited garbage. Love them or loath them, Ryanair is one of the best managed businesses in Europe right now and still has a lot of potential.

InactiveDid anybody see that Ryanair are giving away free flights on their website: (http://www.ryanair.com) since the show aired?

They fly right to the village of Dinard in France. Seeing as that’s where my girlfriend lives, I’m not complaining! :DNow only if they’d open up routes from Belfast…

Brilliant. I believe that Skavsta is even further from Stockholm! -

InactiveI spent 25 euro on return flights to Belgium (chareloi) last year.
They can go asleep in MY seat, for that money. And so what if they only fly into tertiary airports, miles away from the actual cities.
You get what u pay for. :)
But more to the point, i used to enjoy watching dispatchers, but ive lost interest after watching this ryanair story.
And it looks like Dispatchers has really stubbed their toe on this one too.

Inactiveryan air… i refuse to fly with them
the business of cattle market stampede for a seat is crap ..
i much prefer the others that actually give you a seat without the stress…
i usually travel with a cello that i actually have to buy a seat for too… so it makes sense to have them sitting next to each other LOL
