So anyone got any ideas on when the next shindig should be? Maybe Friday the 17th or something. Just want to get it flowing. :)

after the relatively poor turn outs at the last few, we were talking about only having them every 2 months or so… how do you folks feel about this?
That would make the next one in November as I’m sure every last man- and woman-jack of you will be at Awakenings in October!!

24th is great by me. I also missed the last one so I’m quite eager to meet up again. Haven’t seen the Dubliners in a few months and haven’t seen Pete or any of the Torc crew since I was up there. So should be a great day!

At least you have a car to come down in! I have to suffer sitting in a stuffy bus for three hours as I begin to fall asleep already after a tiring day in college.Shindigs should be moved to Donegal. Let’s see how our Dublin friends like travelling all day! :)

It’s usually Toners on Baggot Street, where parking is free after 7pm and all you really need to do is come along and have a few pints. They’re not the most formal of occasions, and there’s usually people doing silly things like ending up in strange bars on the northside surrounded by goths and rockers (Dave’s trip to the zoofibbers). There’s the usual range of drinks on tap, Guinness, Heineiken, Bud etc.

and hey Ronny, maybe in future I can collect you and any other Belfast people on the way down!! No complaints mind you about my stuffy little car will be tolerated..

Hi guys,
That’s booked now for Friday 24th September in Toners on Baggot Street, downstairs in the usual spot. I’ve said between 10-20 will turn up, so don’t make me a liar!
I’m wrapping everything up here at the moment, so I won’t be around for the next 2 weeks, but I’ll try and make it out as I’m back on the 24th, so hopefully will see you all there.
My last day here in DemonWare so I’m going to wreck the place up (messing), so next time I’ll be a bum again.

While I may look shifty and pale, I recommend you stay as far away as possible from the ocean of depravity that is posting these venomous untruths.

Hi Aphra,
I know I was not alone in feeling like we missed out on a very special weekend in Irish Game Development history in missing Awakenings but hopefully our experiences in Korea can add to the momentum created by all involved.
Because we missed out, I think it’s fair to say that plans are afoot to organise a Galway shindig. We even attempted to be creative on the drive home and come up with a catchy name but after 20 hrs traveling, it was enough to occupy my mind to guide the car home.
You can rest assured that nothing will be organised without gd.ie.
