      Demonware, Seminar Room 2pm
      Following the Havok talk, Sean Blanchfield, Chief Technical Officer of Demonware, the worlds leading provider of Networking middleware for the games industry will be out in DCU. His talk will cover all the aspects of developing the companies technology used in leading titles such as Call Of Duty 3, Need For Speed: Carbon and the Splinter Cell series on both PC and next-generation Consoles.

      Well following some minor issue with the timetable the talks went off without a hitch today and I must say, they were great. First off, big thanks to Chris and Marc from Havok and Dylan and Sean from Demonware for coming out to talk to us, much obliged lads. :)

      As for the left overs, well the Havok talk was completely recorded and will be uploaded to Google Video soon. Unfortunately the Demonware talk was not recorded, despite having a vast array of high tech gear, our AV guy made the simple mistake of not plugging in the hard drive. :(

      The t-shirts were great too, typical students needing to be clothed. ;)

      I’ll post more later, need to run now and get ready for this debate…
