I think I already know the answer to this but I think I’ll throw it out there anyways, ya never know what ya might get back.
When texturing a model is it better to have as few maps as possible even if it means a bigger resolution or are many small res ones acceptable??? i.e a single 1024×1024 or two 512×512, or four 256×256.
Part of me was thinking that the single would be better as you’d have all you need right there, but with mutliple maps you could have diferent models using the same part, eg. soldiers all with the same uniform map.
