The tech. types here may have come accross the now legendary (well, in the demoscene anyway) .kkreiger demo from a few years back. The same people are now working on procedural content generation techniques on mobile phones. There’s a movie and an interesting paper here:

I love the demoscene stuff, these guys aren’t even professional programmers.

I was trying to convince the other guys at work procedural stuff could be done on a mobile a few weeks ago. Guess I have proof now.
