To be honest Gard never really interested me, his ideas are nice but come on, he set out to make a new game under a new company and what did he come up with?, Galleon. While it is a nice game it’s hardly an entry type game now is it?(especially after countless delays and graphical problems). News that he is back on the trail of Lara is no surprise, and while it would be great if he could get the Croft franchise rollin again, I doubt anyone will care anymore……That game is best left in the 32 bit era where it belongs…….with Gard.

Somehow, he’s come out of the Galleon saga with his reputation intact. He’s still a big name.

[/quote:3fc7fb81af]Oh come on Omen Gard has hardly come away with his ‘reputation’ intact, every mag under the sun blasted him when galleon suffered delay after delay, and when it was finally released they labled him even more for spending the last 5 years trying to make a successful take on the platform genre only to come up with a title with decent animation and a good control system but lacking in everywhere else, if anything I think Gard has become the ‘school idiot’ and has gone and done a bit of a Molyenuex on it, he obvioulsy has alot of talent but wasting 5 years of it on Galleon is hardly commendable.

Really….Christ, I didn’t think that would be so, well I stand corrected so.
Although I still think he is over hyped, creating a character such as Lara Croft was bound to happen sooner or later, and anyone could have done it, were just lucky Gard beat Tecmo to it otherwise we could all be in jail for indecent exposure!, on a digital level that is.
