Transition Year Work Experience

I am looking for work experience. I found this website when I was looking for some work experience and I had found a forum topic but it was from 2008 so I’m not sure if what was posted is still true. I’m wondering if any places are taking transition year students this year and next year. Any ideas? :idea:

I’ll give the same advice that was given a few weeks ago to someone else who was also looking for work experience (and one which has worked for myself): just email some places, you’d be suprised how many places will be willing to take people on.

Just don’t expect to be taught game development in two weeks, remember that other people have things to be doing too, not to mention that it’s impossible to learn to program in just two weeks.
Anyway, having even a basic working knowledge of programming will mean that you’ll get a whole lot more out of it. Look up some tutorials on youtube- that’s where i learnt.
