TY Student Planning For The Future

Dear Reader,
You may be wondering what this is about due to the heading? I’m writing this today to find out is there any companies in Ireland that take on students for work experience and also Is it worth studying in Ireland or going aboard to study?
So I have a bit of a background with coding and designing i did CoderDojo when i was 12 I learned Java and CSS but their not needed in the gaming industry , I always had the dream to become a graphic designer / game developer and I need some help finding out if it’s worth it and someone to point me in the right way? Like Subjects I need , Where to Study or Is it worth it . Any help is appreciated , I know about the industry but that much.
