After a long enough wait the unity engine v4.0 has been released. A few improvements and now supports deployment to Linux based systems. A big win for someone like me :)
The new feature list is here but a quick overview:

New Animation System
Directx11 now supported
Optimized GUI system
New Graphics Features (images, fonts, shadows on mobile, etc..[/list:u:f142b3bfd2]Looking forward to seeing how things progress from here.

We’re sticking with 3.5.6 for the next wee bit on the project we’re working on, but I once I get a new personal laptop I’m getting 4.0!

Already got it and doing some tutorials on it, seems quite neat. No bugs so far… :)
