InactiveThat’s cheating, if you take Mario from the paper mario series of games all you’ll have to do is cut out a shape ;)

InactiveMost recent would probably be Sonic Heroes, unless you count the Shadow game. Sonic Heroes was kinda sucky, been going downhill lately.

InactiveIf you’re talking about the original one, it was ok. Very popular at the time, though I thought it was just a bit too long so it got kinda repetetive.

InactiveLast Sonic game I played was Sonic & Knuckles and imho, its the best out of the lot of them. I’ve played the newer gen versions of them but theres just something missing from the fully 3D incarnations. :?

I loved it at the time. Didnt think it was too long myself, there were no saves and it could be finished in 1 sitting… about 2-3 hours id say! There were sections alright which were a bit annoying but overall it was great.
I had the 2nd one as well but i never finished it. Couldnt beat the Silver Sonic Boss about 75% of the way through the game.

After just playing Mario recently on the DS, i agree with you! Mario is a much better game overall than Sonic.

Inactivea little off topic but for those that liked the old sonic gameplay
http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=28620
back on topic, I loved all the old sonic games 1-3 + Knuckles (completed them all, sonic 2 was the hardest), Sonic is what got me into gaming in the first place (with a little of toejam and earl).
i liked sonic adventure (but it was the first dreamcast/ next gen game i played) but sonic adventure 2 was hit and miss for me… personally the next sonic game i want to play/ get is Sonic CD

InactiveYeah, I own Sonic Adventure Battle 2 for the gamecube, and I must say I quite enjoyed it, although there are a few bugs and glitches which can ruin the gameplay at points.
Still, can’t beat Mario *puts on flame-retardant suit*
