Just a quick bit of advice.
Where should a 3d modeler and artist look for work experience in ireland? Any good get togethers on soon or what not?

Looking for a mod team is a great way to get experience for a modeller. I know some big American lead designers and they all say proving your worth on a mod is the best way to get a job in the industry.
My team could always use a good a modeller and animator.

the next two months there are lots of events – starting this friday with the games and animation event, moving to the 15th Feb. for the IGAI event and then gamecraft in DIT on the 25th March (all dub) and then moving on to the Games Fleadh (Thurles) in March. As a result we probably won’t have another face to face shindig until end March/early April….
