Can anyone give me a few details on how controlled the market is on the xbox live system?
The forthcoming “live anywhere” system seems to indicate that the system, when completely interconnected between your PC, xbox and mobile phone will be a reasonably open system to develop for, and you can simply go through the required hoops to get the “runs on windows” sticker and launch your product on all the available media.
Will microsoft be looking for a revenue share of every penny made on the live service, or will it be an open marketplace, a microsoft interpretation of open internet access so to speak?
