      Good one.

I had a mini freak-out last month when I saw the ‘ring of death’ on my lovely 360. Luckily it was just because one of the leads wasn’t plugged in.

But it’s still one of those things you laugh at when it happens to a mate. :P

What is even funnier is that they claim the 360 failure is 16%.

      HAR HAR!

that truly is the most incompetent thing I have ever seen. Well maybe that time Windows 9x blue-screened right behind Bill Gates, LIVE.

      But wow.

GDC, and Microsoft have a red-ring Xbox 360 on display! At the very least they should have all those red-rings and their assembly lines, buried in the ET Cartridge desert.

      Jokers. Absolute Jokers.

With the release of the newer versions of the Core, Premium and Elite that failure rate is more accurate. Of course if you just take a sample of original machines it will be higher but I’d say it balances out now. A couple of friends work in games retail stores and even they have said the number of returns on the newer models is nothing like the original ones, returns on the Elite are also close to non-existent.
