you might consider a marketing or industry session too in the future…esp if you get an MA student working in that space.

actually the research funder here in Ireland for PhDs has introduced a scheme for industry based MAs and PhDs…..

we should encourage companies and individuals to explore this option.

I think maybe we should revise our sign up guidelines to be clearer about our position on recruitment agencies and their use of the forums. These forums are not for posting jobs from recruitment agencies.

If someone wants to have something posted on the job listing then one needs to contact us via the ‘info@gamedevelopers.ie email and if it is a third party recruitment agency they will need to donate smthg to the site/or provide some other input.

Companies based in Ireland and other projects of regular members are welcome to send us jobs and we will post for free.

I for one am not interested in gatekeeping, except for explicitly sexist, racist and spam content.

I am also not for revising, unless it has been pointed out to us that we have broken the law somehow.

But I am only one of the moderators.
