    I have one copy which was sent to me by Forfas. There is no mention of it as yet on their website under publications so I don’t know if they are making copies generally available. However Tony might have a spare copy or else we can discuss other options!

    Keep an eye out for new courses in Game Programming and Design in Dundalk IT & Carlow IT which are currently going through the accreditation process. If they are successful we will review them for inclusion on our list of relevant courses…

    They both hope to take in students this Autumn if successful..

    and I suppose we should add here that skoool.ie has won a major Irish award ..at the Digital Media awards last week..well done to all concerned…

    I heard a rumour that Trinity Games Society is having two speakers over from Lionhead studios on Thurs Feb 5th – head of art who has been on these boards and is Irish and a programmer…anyone know anything on this?

    I also believe people who are not members of the society can attend for a minimum fee ..

    will post here when I know more…

    I’d like to know what platforms people play on and if there is much crossover between them e.g. PC/console etc..

    How many hours a week on average they play..

    Do they play online games? What type..MMORPGs, free web games, network PC/console games..etc..

    oh, and the usual demographic stuff, sex, age, location…

    we don’t want overkill on events or no-one will show up…it might be best to leave the next shindig until Feb…but then again if there are enough people around who want to meet I’ve no probs
