Romero Games is home to a wonderful group of diverse game developers, most of whom have worked together for years. We genuinely like creating games as a team and value creating a place that you might like to work, too. Our office is located in historic, medieval Galway, Ireland. Ireland itself is the second largest exporter of software in the world, and the tech triangle of Galway, Dublin and Cork make up the great bulk of those exports. Galway is the cultural capital of Europe (really, it won that award!) and offers year-round creative festivals and is home to a vibrant arts, tech, foodie and writing culture.

We are also proud nerds with two D&D campaigns (so far), a book club, an enviable board game collection and are supporters of various community initiatives that teach kids to code and create. We are active supporters and advocates for STEM and diversity.

We offer the following benefits:

  • Premium health benefits, plus extended healthcare coverage

  • Generous time off for vacation, sick days, and personal days

  • Relocation assistance

  • Active mentoring program

  • Monthly insider expert seminars with well-known creators such as David Brevik (Diablo), Josh Sawyer (Pillars of Eternity), Harvey Smith (Dishonored), Warren Spector (Deus Ex) and more
