Black Shamrock game development studio are looking for a highly organised Video Game Producer with strong communication, and project management skills. Self-direction and follow-up skills are a must, as well as the ability to anticipate production issues, and find effective solutions. The candidate must enjoy seeing a project from inception to completion and delivering features on time and with the highest quality possible.

 

What you will be doing:

● Work with department leads to define feature requirements, determine resource needs, and establish task schedules.
● Coordinate and track the activities of personnel to ensure that project tasks are well-defined and completed on time.
● Facilitate discussion and record-keeping for team and department meetings.
● Assisting Engine team producers or leads with planning and tracking.
● Assisting Engine team producers or leads with data entry, follow-ups, and list management.
● Collaborating with development teams to remove blocks in production.
● Representing task status to other producers and leads.
● JIRA task/bug entry and maintenance.

 

What you Should Have:

● A minimum of 1 year of experience in a production/development role.
● Track record of delivering products on time.
● Ability to communicate effectively and frequently with developers, leadership and external groups.
● Knowledge of software development processes, project management, and risk mitigation.
● Calm and deliberate within a highly dynamic, energized, and fast-paced environment.
● Strong interpersonal skills, utilizing both oral and written communication.
● Positive, “can do” attitude with the willingness to take on any task – no matter how small – to support the team.
● Interest in the game industry/Unreal Engine, enthusiasm for working with our team.
● Ability to work independently, to meet tight deadlines under pressure and to handle multiple duties at once while staying organized.
● Passion for Video games.
