yes Game Over is part of the title too..there have been a number of books on Sony and Microsoft in the more recent years too, all written by journalists…

I guess the focus so far in your courses is on games programming…is there much on game design ?

if you could provide us with some more info on the Magee course it would be great…focus of course, level (degree, diploma etc.), numbers and entry requirements…we could look at doing a review of the course if it is already accredited..to go in our courses section..

Nintendo in particular are great at taking patent lawsuits…see SHEFF, D. (1993) Nintendo’s Battle to Dominate an Industry, London, Hodder and Stoughton which has a lot of info on their earlier suits…I know the book is in DCU’s library..

mm, had a go at ‘that song’ this weekend…I may be about to ruin a song for everyone, for life ,but anyway..if anyone else is good at lyrics I could do with a co-writer!!

as I said I can point you to books and journal articles a plenty – even on the business side.. unless of course marketing lecturers don’t accept sociology, cultural studies and economics as valid disciplines!
