Dave just rang me to confirm booking made for Trastevere, Temple Bar Square at 6.30 pm – the restaurant with all the windows! The booking is only for 5 so the rest of you will have to to chance their arm and drop in, or make your own booking.

Hi all,
actually there are two of us who post mail at the moment – both are based here in DCU.
Adding a box to the site for e-mail alerts sounds great but we would have to get one of our initial students who was involved in the design of the site, or someone else, back to do it . With exams coming up that is not likely to happen til mid/end of Jan. here in DCU.
An interim would be to create a new thread on the forums where people could sign up for news digests and to have someone create a news digest from the news posted to the site – say at the end of every week, or every two weeks who would circulate to this list. We also have to make sure that the list of names is kept confidential and safe.

but it is starting to look like a series rather than a once off feature now!

well I was thinking of doing a feature ‘What is going on in Dundalk?..just because there is so much activity in this area and it would be good to look into it..
so Pavel might be in touch with you all soon…I know about the creative industries start-up programme, Meedja, DKIT initiatives…what else should we know about…?

well done yesterday and the demo was amazing. As you can see from the turnout…nearly 200 people.. there is a lot of interest in the competition in Ireland at the moment. Pity only one team can get selected this year but hopefully next year that will increase.

Well Mahaffeys said they would be very busy alright but I wouldn’t rule it out. They can’t guarantee us seats..but I for one don’t mind that. Can’t expect much else week before Christmas.. unless we move further towards the docks!

Well I think we should fix it asap so the 19th it is…same place since they are very nice to us and no-one has complained..
If people are around earlier than 7.30 we could grab some food – not a Christmas dinner or anything.. but we could book somewhere nearby..
