yes Sony were kind enough to send them to me for you guys but they went to DCU, hence the late announcement.
Anyway, Playstation is 10 party is on in the industry hall in the RDS in dublin from 8pm. there is a groove armada DJ set (in case people through groove armada were turning up!). It is an over 18s event..
I will be there to meet people and give out tickets …

this is currently being talked about and I believe TIGA is thinking of doing the same in the UK. the sytem is not up and running as many courses are only getting up and running.
I don’t think it should get into recommending particular software or engines though

to my knowledge a ranking list of unis and courses is not produced in the south Ronny – at least nothing like what the Guardian does.
try Higher Education Authority for more details on student numbers etc in unis http://www.hea.ie/index.cfm/page/category/id/142
CAO will provide basic info on courses and how to apply. See http://www2.cao.ie/
apart from that it is word of mouth and the websites of the individual unis.

no we haven’t put up the announcement/news on gd.ie
while the link on AMD is live the official announcement and press releases etc have still to go out..
it is not even in AMD’s news section yet as far as I can see..
don’t worry we will be covering it..

I am not going to spend too much time on this as I have better things to be doing with my time. If you want to check my qualifications for admining this website google me and I am not sure what qualifications you think one needs to try and run a forum for networking and sharing information. Most people have posted about themselves on the introductions thread and from there we meet and talk online and face to face.
I am now going to go back and edit your post as you have been warned if you persist in targetting certain individuals or companies that we would do this.
I think you will find from the posts here that people are not really interested in your current contributions on this topic.

these types of conferences are aimed at policy makers and consultants if you ask me and not creatives or academics..
I doubt they give free tickets to anyone..

there was a database of Irish artists in Arthouse, not sure what happened to it when Arthouse closed. Someone at CIRCA magazine might be able to provide information on other databases etc..
