Thanks for the pics and stuff …good to find out what was going on and we had a spy present so hopefully a full report will go up on the front page soon – well of the formal activities anyway..you’ll have to keep posting here to find out about the after hours stuff!

hi all,
Just checking in from Korea after three days of jet lag, site visits, presentations and socialising…off to see some PC bangs this afternoon and do some electronics shopping…has to be done..will get a report up on KGC and the Irish game company travel mission next week – should be able to get that written on the 12 hour flight home!!
any gossip on awakenings????

I won’t say too much about them as John used to work there but I do know the government refused to give them any more money. It will be interesting to see where they go from here…

I would point out that most of this redesign work is bing done voluntarily and the same people are involved somewhat in Awakenings so bear with us and those issues will be addressed..
It is fairly cumbersome from this side too having to manually cut and paste in skills etc..so we are keen to move to a new way of doing things..

these articles take a bit of time to get together since everyone has moved on, usually abroad. But I am sure we can get a couple more together..if people have contacts for people who worked in Phantom or PixelMagic let me know by PM. I know a few of the bods from Taintech are still around ..

Hopefully in a couple of years there will be more companies here in a position to hire..in the past year and a half most of the growth has been in the mobile sector with slower growth elsewhere..we will keep you all informed though..
