no actually I would discourage posting images of girlfriends or boyfriends on the site and instead encourage them to come to shindigs or post themselves on the forums. I don’t think it is relevant to the forums and it will use up bandwidth. Please just add a link from your skills profile or introduction.
Also us people on really poor broadband links at home would hate it.

well it would complicate things a little – you could nominate two people if you think both should get it…i.e. it should be shared..worth giving a reason why…

…in the general discussion we have an introductions thread…where you can read about everyone else…you might want to post there as it is sticky and won’t be removed or move down the pages..

everyone is invited to gd.ie events and IGDA Ireland events.
You are encouraged to take out membership of the IGDA if you are working in the industry or a student wanting to get into it.
so far most events have been free thanks to sponsorship.

by the way, if you think no-one qualifies this year for a particular award, i.e there was no humour at all on the boards, feel free to say so.
We don’t have to award all of them every year!!

yes Pete, Omen and Ronny have proved their stamina already and are in our hall of fame!
I had a look at sign up dates and no of posts last night and it looks like there are some other contendors like Mal, Skyclad, Ian H and boadle.
Mal and boadle signed up on the 31 March 2003 and have 549 and 399 posts respectively. Ian signed up on the 23 June 03 and has 689 posts. Mind you skyclad signed up on the 5 August 2003 (no he wasn’t here from the beginning!) and he has 992 posts!
So there are two elements to stamina, how long you have been involved and the no of posts..
